Emergency Bill No. 3-87

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Section 5-59(A), Article V, Chapter
5 of the Public Local Laws of Kent County, Maryland,
entitled "Additional Fee for 911 Emergency Telephone
Systems", to provide for an increase in the current "911"
fee by fifteen (.15) cents per month, to be applied to all
current telephone bills for switched local exchange access
in Kent County.

Effective Date April 7, 1987.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sections 5-53,
5-54, and 5-55 of Article IV, Chapter 5, of the Public Local
Laws of Kent County, Maryland (being Article 15 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), entitled "Fire
Companies", sub-titles, "Appropriations to Fire Companies",
"Appropriations for Ambulance Service", and "Insurance for
Fire Companies", changing the method for determining the
annual appropriations to volunteer fire companies, ambulance
service, and/or rescue squads in Kent County.

Effective Date June 2, 1987.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 1.2 and
13 of Article 5, add new Sections 15 and 16 to Article 5;
repeal Paragraphs a and b, Section 2.52 of Article 10; add
new Sections 65 and 66 to Section 2 of Article 10; add new
Paragraphs 104 and 105 to Section 2 of Article 14; amend
Paragraph 3 of Section 13 of Article 15; add new Paragraphs
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 to Section 13 of Article 15 of
the Kent County, Maryland Zoning Ordinance, revising the
Zoning Ordinance by changing or adding provisions relating
to agricultural pursuits affecting livestock, feedlots,
stables and poultry houses and changing civil penalties and
procedures for violations of the Zoning Ordinance.

Effective Date August 4, 1987.
