In subsections (a), (b)(4)(ii), and (c)(1) of this
section, the references to "Baltimore County" and "the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission" are
substituted for the former, overly broad references to
"a board or agency of any subdivision or official body
of this State" and the "subdivision or official body",
to conform to the current practice of the Board.

The introductory clause of subsection (a) of this
section, "[s]ubject to the limitations in this
section", is substituted for the former phrase
"subject to the provisions of this subtitle and the
rules ... of the Board", to clarify the applicable
limitations.

In subsection (b)(1) of this section, the reference to
the fee "required under § 3-306" is added for clarity,
since there is also an application fee.

3-306. ISSUANCE OF LICENSES.

(A)  NOTICE TO QUALIFIED APPLICANTS FOR JOURNEY PLUMBER,
MASTER PLUMBER, OR LIMITED LICENSES.

IF AN APPLICANT QUALIFIES FOR A JOURNEY PLUMBER LICENSE, A
MASTER PLUMBER LICENSE, OR A LIMITED LICENSE UNDER THIS SUBTITLE,
THE BOARD SHALL SEND THE APPLICANT A NOTICE THAT STATES:

(1)  THE APPLICANT HAS QUALIFIED FOR THE LICENSE; AND

(2)  THE BOARD WILL ISSUE THE LICENSE TO AN APPLICANT
ON RECEIPT OF:

(I)  IF CONTRACTING IN THE NAME OF THE APPLICANT
OR ANOTHER PERSON TO PROVIDE PLUMBING SERVICES, PROOF OF THE
LIABILITY INSURANCE AS REQUIRED UNDER § 3-501 OF THIS TITLE; AND

(II)  A LICENSE FEE OF:

1.  $30 FOR A MASTER PLUMBER LICENSE OR A
LIMITED MASTER PLUMBER LICENSE; OR

2.  $15 FOR A JOURNEY PLUMBER LICENSE OR A
LIMITED JOURNEY PLUMBER LICENSE.

(B)  ISSUANCE.
