SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 95A - Unemployment Insurance Law

An individual shall be disqualified for benefits;

(g) (4) In the case of payments in the form of a pension,
annuity, retirement, or retired pay paid to an individual under
the Social Security Act or the Railroad Retirement Act of 1974,
[the individual's weekly benefit amount shall be reduced by the
amount calculated pursuant to § 6(g)(l)(i) and (ii) if any of
that individual's base period employers were subject to the
provisions of the Social Security Act or the Railroad Retirement
Act of 1974 with respect to wages paid to the individual] THE
INDIVIDUAL'S CONTRIBUTION SHALL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION AND
THE INDIVIDUAL'S WEEKLY BENEFIT AMOUNT SHALL NOT BE REDUCED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:

Article 95A - Unemployment Insurance Law

(e) Employers other than political subdivisions of the
State of Maryland who elect under subsection (d) to make payment
in lieu of contributions shall be subject to the provisions of
this subsection.

(1) Provision of Bond or Other Security. Any

nonprofit organization that elects to become liable for payments
in lieu of contributions shall be required within 30 days after
the effective date of its election, to execute and file with the
Executive Director a surety bond approved by the Executive
Director. It may elect instead to deposit with the Executive
Director money or securities, including irrevocable letters of
