AN ACT concerning
Unemployment Insurance - Exemptions from Coverage;
Deductions, Recoupment, and Bonds
FOR the purpose of aligning the Maryland Unemployment Insurance
Law with the Federal Unemployment Tax Act to exempt from
unemployment insurance coverage the service of certain alien
farmworkers, the service of certain individuals under a
certain age who are employed by their parents, the service
of certain members of fishing vessels, and certain summer
camp counselors who are full-time students; altering the
method for deducting Social Security benefits and Railroad
Retirement benefits from unemployment insurance benefits and
providing for a delayed effective date; authorizing the
Secretary of Economic and Employment Development to enter
into an intergovernmental agreement to recover an
overpayment of unemployment insurance benefits paid to any
individual under another state's unemployment insurance law
or under an unemployment insurance benefit program of the
United States; providing for the retrospective application
of the provisions of this Act on recovery of overpayments;
altering the amount of the bond or other security required
by certain nonprofit organizations which choose to be liable
for payments to the Maryland Unemployment Insurance Trust
Fund in lieu of contributions; and generally relating to
specified exemptions exemptions, deductions, recoupment, and
bonds under the Unemployment Insurance Law.

Article 95A - Unemployment Insurance Law
Section 6(g)(4), 8(e)(l)(i), 17(d), 20(g)(7)(v) and (vi) ,
and (8)(iv), (vii), (xvii), and (xix)
