WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 594

(G) ALL PROFITS DERIVED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SECTION, WHETHER FROM THE OPERATION OF PARI-MUTUEL BETTING OR
FROM ADMISSION CHARGES OR OTHER RECEIPTS LESS ALL PROPER EXPENSES
FOR OPERATING THE MEET SHALL BE PAID OVER TO THE PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY EQUESTRIAN CENTER.

(H) AN OFFICER OF THE PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY EQUESTRIAN
CENTER OR THE MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK AND PLANNING
COMMISSION MAY NOT RECEIVE ANY SALARY OR DIVIDENDS BY VIRTUE OF
THE OPERATION OF THE DAY OF RACING.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988. It shall remain effective for a period
of 1 year and, at the end of June 30, 1989, and with no further
action required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning

Property Tax - Public Hearing Requirements

FOR the purpose of eliminating a clarifying the requirement that
a public meeting be held within a certain period before the
date of imposition of a property tax increase enacted by a
county or municipal corporation.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 6-308(f)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1986 Volume and 1987 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Tax - Property

6-308.

(f) (1) The meeting on the proposed county or municipal
corporation property tax rate increase shall be held[:
