(i)] on or after the 5th day and on or before
the 15th day after the notice is published as required by
subsection (c) of this section[; and
(ii) on or before the 14th day before the date
required by law for the imposition of the property tax].
(II) ON OR BEFORE THE 14TH DAY PRIOR TO JULY 1,
WHICH IS THE DATE REQUIRED BY LAW FOR IMPOSITION OF THE PROPERTY
TAX.
(2) The meeting may coincide with the meeting on the
proposed budget of the taxing authority.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning
State Lottery - Interception of Prizes -
Child Support Arrearages
FOR the purpose of altering the procedure for intercepting
certain State lottery prizes when the prize winner is in
arrears of at least a certain amount in support payments;
relieving the State Comptroller of any responsibility
relating to the interception of lottery prizes; requiring
the Child Support Enforcement Administration to send a
certain certification to the State Lottery Agency concerning
certain child support obligors; requiring the State Lottery
Agency to send a certain notice to certified obligors who
win a prize of a certain minimum amount to be paid by check
directly by the State Lottery Agency and to pay, withhold,
and transfer to the Administration certain portions of a
lottery prize; requiring the Administration to notify the
State Lottery Agency as to the result of an appeal by an
obligor; authorizing the Secretary of Human Resources and
the Director of the State Lottery Agency to adopt certain
regulations; and generally relating to the interception of
State lottery prizes for payment of child support
arrearages.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
