CERTIFICATION OF LICENSING STATUS.

(A)  REQUEST FOR CERTIFICATION.

ON REQUEST OF ANY PERSON AND PAYMENT OF A FEE OF $10, THE
COMMISSION SHALL CERTIFY THE LICENSING STATUS AND QUALIFICATIONS
OF ANY PERSON WHO IS THE SUBJECT OF THE REQUEST.

(B)  CONTENTS OF CERTIFICATION.

A CERTIFICATION PROVIDED UNDER THIS SECTION SHALL INCLUDE A
STATEMENT OF THE LICENSING STATUS OF THE PERSON WHO IS THE
SUBJECT OF THE REQUEST AND MAY INCLUDE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT:

(1)  THE EXAMINATION RESULTS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
OF THAT PERSON;

(2)  THE DATES OF ISSUANCE AND RENEWAL OF THAT
PERSON'S LICENSE;

(3)  ANY DISCIPLINARY ACTION TAKEN AGAINST THAT
PERSON; AND

(4)  IF AUTHORIZED BY THAT PERSON, ANY COMPLAINT
AGAINST THAT PERSON.

(C) SEPARATE FEE.

THE COMMISSION
CERTIFICATION.

SHALL COLLECT THE $10 FEE FOR EACH

SUBCOMMITTEE COMMENT: This section is new language
substituted for former Art. 56, § 223(m), which
established a fee but failed to state expressly what
constitutes a certification of licensing status or how
the certification is obtained. This substituted
language conforms to the practice of the Commission
and of other occupational boards under the Department.
