LAWS OF MARYLAND

"LICENSED ASSOCIATE REAL ESTATE BROKER" MEANS, UNLESS THE
CONTEXT REQUIRES OTHERWISE, AN ASSOCIATE REAL ESTATE BROKER WHO
IS LICENSED BY THE COMMISSION TO PROVIDE REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE
SERVICES ON BEHALF OF A LICENSED REAL ESTATE BROKER WITH WHOM THE
ASSOCIATE REAL ESTATE BROKER IS AFFILIATED.

SUBCOMMITTEE COMMENT: This subsection is new language added
to avoid repetition of phrases such as "individual
licensed to provide real estate brokerage services as
an associate real estate broker on behalf of a
licensed real estate broker with whom the individual
is affiliated".

Defined terms: "Affiliate" § 4-101

"Associate real estate broker" § 4-101

"Commission" § 4-101

"Licensed real estate broker" § 4-101

"Provide real estate brokerage services" § 4-101

(I) LICENSED REAL ESTATE BROKER.

"LICENSED REAL ESTATE BROKER" MEANS, UNLESS THE CONTEXT
REQUIRES OTHERWISE, A REAL ESTATE BROKER WHO IS LICENSED BY THE
COMMISSION TO PROVIDE REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE SERVICES.

THE COMMISSION TO PROVIDE REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE SERVICES ON
BEHALF OF A LICENSED REAL ESTATE BROKER WITH WHOM THE REAL ESTATE
SALESPERSON IS AFFILIATED.
