(F) HEARING BOARD.

"HEARING BOARD" MEANS A REAL ESTATE HEARING BOARD APPOINTED
BY THE COMMISSION UNDER § 4-326 OF THIS TITLE.

SUBCOMMITTEE COMMENT: This subsection is new language added
to provide an express definition of the term "hearing
board".

Defined term: "Commission" § 4-101

(G) LICENSE.

(1)  "LICENSE" MEANS, UNLESS THE CONTEXT REQUIRES
OTHERWISE, A LICENSE ISSUED BY THE COMMISSION.

(2)  "LICENSE" INCLUDES, UNLESS THE CONTEXT REQUIRES
OTHERWISE:

(I)  A REAL ESTATE BROKER LICENSE;

(II)  AN ASSOCIATE REAL ESTATE BROKER LICENSE;
AND

(III)  A REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON LICENSE.

SUBCOMMITTEE COMMENT: Paragraph (1) of this subsection is
new language added to avoid repetition of phrases such
as "license to provide real estate brokerage
services" .

Paragraph (2) of this subsection is new language added
to provide a specific listing of the different
licenses covered under the defined term.

Occasionally, the term "licensee" is used in this
title to refer to the holder of any of the licenses
included in the definition of "license" in this
subsection.
