University of Maryland to be used also for a remote fire
alarm system for that building; amending Chapter 125 of the
Acts of 1985, the General Construction Loan of 1985, as
amended by Chapter 466 of the Acts of 1986, the General
Construction Loan of 1984 and 1985 Time Extension, to permit
funds appropriated for installing utility lines under
certain streets in Historic Annapolis to be used to also
design and reconstruct certain streets in Historic
Annapolis, and extending the time period before these funds
are reverted; amending Chapter 125 of the Acts of 1985, the
General Construction Loan of 1985, to permit the remaining
funds in the appropriation for preliminary planning to
accelerate the Governor's Master Plan for prison
construction and renovation to be used to design, construct,
and equip a 192-cell medium security housing unit at Roxbury
Correctional Institution in Washington County; amending
Chapter 286 of the Acts of 1986, the General Construction
Loan of 1986, as amended by Chapter 597 of the Acts of 1987,
the General Construction Loan of 1987, to permit the
remaining funds in the appropriation to renovate the South
Wing of the Maryland Penitentiary to be used to design,
construct, and equip a 192-cell medium security housing unit
at Roxbury Correctional Institution in Washington County;
amending Chapter 286 of the Acts of 1986, the General
Construction Loan of 1986, as amended by Chapter 597 of the
Acts of 1987, the General Construction Loan of 1987, to
permit the remaining funds in the appropriation to construct
the Industry/Recreation Building at the Maryland
Penitentiary to be used to design, construct, and equip a
192-cell medium security housing unit at Roxbury
Correctional Institution in Washington County; amending
Chapter 286 of the Acts of 1986, the General Construction
Loan of 1986, as amended by Chapter 597 of the Acts of 1987,
the General Construction Loan of 1987, to permit the
remaining funds in the appropriation to design and prepare
detailed plans and specifications for demolition,
renovation, and new construction at the Maryland House of
Correction to be used to design, construct, and equip a
192-cell medium security housing unit at Roxbury
Correctional Institution in Washington County; amending
Chapter 286 of the Acts of 1986, the General Construction
Loan of 1986, to permit the funds appropriated for the
construction of a Marine Science Laboratory at the Horn
Point Environmental Laboratory in Dorchester County, to also
be used to provide equipment for that Laboratory; amending
Chapter 597 of the Acts of 1987, the General Construction
Loan of 1987, to delete a specific site for use of the grant
to the Maryland Veterans Memorial Commission; amending
Chapter 597 of the Acts of 1987, the General Construction
Loan of 1987, to permit funds appropriated for alterations
and an addition to Tawes Hall at Salisbury State College to
be used for construction of a new academic building;
amending Chapter 597 of the Acts of 1987, the General
