and other organizations for certain purposes; providing
generally for the issuance and sale of bonds evidencing the
loan; amending Chapter 886 of the Acts of 1975, the General
Construction Loan of 1975, to permit funds remaining in the
appropriation for the renovation to the main floor of the
Administration Building of the Maryland Penitentiary to be
used to design, construct, and equip a 192-cell medium
security housing unit at Roxbury Correctional Institution in
Washington County; amending Chapter 671 of the Acts of 1977,
the General Construction Loan of 1977, as amended by Chapter
420 of the Acts of 1979, the General Construction Loan of
1979, to permit funds appropriated for Building 007 at the
College Park Campus of the University of Maryland to be used
for completing renovation of and site improvements for the
Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute's Headquarters in Berwyn
Heights; amending Chapter 420 of the Acts of 1979, the
General Construction Loan of 1979, as amended by Chapter 690
of the Acts of 1981, to permit funds remaining in the
appropriation for construction of a Visitor's Registration
Building at the Maryland Penitentiary to be used to design,
construct, and equip a 192-cell medium security housing unit
at Roxbury Correctional Institution in Washington County;
amending Chapter 693 of the Acts of 1980, the General
Construction Loan of 1980, as amended by Chapter 724 of the
Acts of 1981, the General Construction Loan of 1981, to
permit funds appropriated for handicapped accessibility at
the School for the Deaf to be used for handicapped
accessibility at other statewide facilities; amending
Chapter 724 of the Acts of 1981, the General Construction
Loan of 1981, as amended by Chapter 520 of the Acts of 1982,
the General Construction Loan of 1982, Chapter 286 of the
Acts of 1986, the General Construction Loan of 1986, and
Chapter 597 of the Acts of 1987, the General Construction
Loan of 1987, to permit a portion of the remaining funds in
the appropriation to construct a new 720-bed medium security
correctional institution at the Maryland Correctional
Institution in the Hagerstown Complex in Washington County
to be used to alter, expand and equip the Central Warehouse
Building at the Hagerstown Correctional Complex for use as a
central kitchen and to modify existing kitchens; amending
Chapter 520 of the Acts of 1982, the General Construction
Loan of 1982, as amended by Chapter 670 of the Acts of 1983,
the General Construction Loan of 1983, to permit a portion
of the remaining funds in the appropriation to construct and
purchase capital equipment for a 720-bed medium security
correctional institution at the Maryland Correctional
Institution in the Hagerstown Complex to be used to alter,
expand and equip the Central Warehouse Building at the
Hagerstown Complex for use as a central kitchen and to
modify existing kitchens; amending Chapter 520 of the Acts
of 1982, the General Construction Loan of 1982, to permit
funds appropriated for a sprinkler system in the Health
Science Library of the Baltimore City Campus of the
