Ch. 387

LAWS OF MARYLAND

(C) NOTWITHSTANDING SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF ENFORCING THE CIVIL OR CRIMINAL LAWS OF THE STATE THE
GOVERNOR MAY ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS WITH THE UNITED STATES TO
ESTABLISH FULL OR PARTIAL CONCURRENT JURISDICTION BY THE STATE
AND THE UNITED STATES OVER ANY LANDS IN THE STATE HELD BY THE
UNITED STATES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

CHAPTER 387

(House Bill 220)

AN ACT concerning

Telecommunications for Disabled Individuals Board

FOR the purpose of altering the initial terms for members of the
Telecommunications for Disabled Individuals Board; and
providing for an abnormal effective date.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 525 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1987
Section 2

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Chapter 525 of the Acts of 1987

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the terms of the
initial members of the Telecommunications for Disabled
Individuals Board shall expire as determined by lot, as follows:

(1)  3 members in   [1988]   1989;

(2)  3 members in   [1989]   1990;

(3)  3 members in   [1990]   1991; and

(4)  2 members in   [1991]   1992.
