WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor                   Ch. 204

PARKING SPACE BUILDING, STRUCTURE, WALL, OR OTHER IMMOVABLE
OBJECT IN A MANNER THAT CLEARLY INDICATES TO A DRIVER THAT THE
SPACE IS RESERVED FOR HANDICAPPED PERSONS.

(2) (i) Except as provided in this paragraph, the
bottom edge of the sign shall be at least 7 feet above the
ground.

(ii) If the sign is placed against a building,
structure, or other location that does not obstruct vehicle or
pedestrian traffic, the bottom edge of the sign shall be at least
6 feet and no more than 10 feet above the ground.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

(House Bill 509)

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - Orphans' Court Judges

FOR the purpose of allowing the Queen Anne's County Commissioners
to determine compensation for Orphans' Court judges;
altering certain provisions concerning travel expenses for
Orphans' Court judges in Queen Anne's County; eliminating
certain fixed figures concerning compensation and travel
expenses; providing that this Act does not alter
compensation during a judge's term; and generally relating
to Orphans' Court judges in Queen Anne's County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 2-108(r)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1987 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
