LAWS OF MARYLAND
(r) (1) Each of the judges of the court for Queen Anne's
County shall receive [an annual compensation of $2,080. Each
judge shall also receive an allowance for traveling expenses of
$520 annually, to be paid quarterly by the County Commissioners]
A SALARY AS SET BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
(2) (I) EACH JUDGE SHALL RECEIVE AN ALLOWANCE FOR
TRAVEL EXPENSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COUNTY BUDGET.
(II) THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SHALL PAY
QUARTERLY TO EACH JUDGE THE TRAVEL ALLOWANCE PROVIDED IN
SUBPARAGRAPH (I) OF THIS PARAGRAPH.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, Section 35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act
may not be construed to extend or apply to the salary or
compensation of the Orphans' Court judges of Queen Anne's County
in office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions
of this Act concerning the salary or compensation of the Orphans'
Court judges of Queen Anne's County shall take effect at the
beginning of the next following term of office.
SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1988.

Allegany County - Salary Study Commission
FOR the purpose of creating the Allegany County Salary Study
Commission; specifying the membership of the Commission;
providing for the appointment of Commission members;
establishing the frequency of Commission meetings;
establishing duties of the Commission; and generally
relating to the Allegany County Salary Study Commission.
BY adding to
The Public Local Laws of Allegany County
Section 68-1 through 68-4 to be under the new subtitle
"Chapter 68. Allegany County Salary Study
Commission"
