Ch. 53

LAWS OF MARYLAND

Washington, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties, a person may cast
the rays of an artificial light from a vehicle on woods, fields,
orchards, livestock, wild animals or birds for the sole purpose
of observing or photographing wildlife until 9:00 p.m.

(ii) If a person casts the rays of any
artificial light under this paragraph the person has the burden
of establishing that the person was doing so for the purposes of
observing or photographing wildlife.

(iii) If a person casting artificial light
under this paragraph or anyone with the person casting artificial
light has a firearm or bow in their possession, the person shall
be presumed to be in violation of paragraph (1) of this
subsection.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988.

AN ACT concerning

Driving While Intoxicated - Penalty

FOR the purpose of making a third or subsequent conviction for
driving while intoxicated a felony; and increasing the fine
that may be imposed for a third or subsequent conviction for
driving while intoxicated.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Annotated Code of Maryland
(1987 Replacement Volume)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
