(C) PERSON.

"PERSON" INCLUDES, UNLESS THE CONTEXT REQUIRES OTHERWISE:

(1)  THE STATE;

(2)  A COUNTY, MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, OR OTHER
POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS SUBDIVISION; AND

(3)  ANY UNIT OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT OR A POLITICAL
SUBDIVISION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection formerly appeared as SF §
ll-167(c)(2).

The only changes are in style.

Former SF § 11-167(c)(1), which defined "[p]erson" to
include "an individual ... corporation, or other
entity", is deleted as duplicative of § ll-101(j) of
this article.

(D) SELECTION BOARD.

"SELECTION BOARD" MEANS THE GENERAL SELECTION BOARD OR THE
TRANSPORTATION SELECTION BOARD.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to
avoid repetition of the names of the General Selection
Board and the Transportation Selection Board.

(E) TRANSPORTATION SELECTION BOARD.

"TRANSPORTATION SELECTION BOARD" MEANS THE TRANSPORTATION
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SELECTION BOARD.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from the second clause of
former SF § 11-150.

The former cross reference to "this Part XIV" is
deleted so that the defined term also applies to
provisions of this subtitle derived from former Part
XV and, thus, may be used instead of the full title of
the Board.
