In subsection (b) and (d) of this section, the
references to this section are substituted for the
former reference to "this Part IX", to reflect the
reorganization of this revision, which combines all of
former Part IX in this section.

The Procurement Revision Review Committee notes, for
consideration by the General Assembly, that in
subsection (c)(1)(ii) of this section, the word
"officer" is not broad enough to include a partner in
a partnership. The General Assembly may wish to add
the words "or partner" in that item, for clarity.

SUBTITLE 3. ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES.
13-301. DEFINITIONS.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS
INDICATED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from former SF §§ ll-149(a)
and ll-167(a).

The word "subtitle" is substituted for the former
references to "this Part XIV" and "this Part XV", to
accommodate the reorganization of this revision, which
includes both former Parts XIV and XV in this one
subtitle.

(B)  GENERAL SELECTION BOARD.

"GENERAL SELECTION BOARD" MEANS THE GENERAL PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES SELECTION BOARD.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from the second clause of
former SF § 11-168.

The former cross reference to "this Part XV" is
deleted so that the defined term also applies to
provisions of this subtitle derived from former Part
XIV and, thus, may be used instead of the full title
of the Board, for brevity.
