34.05.01.02 Maryland Racing Commission
General Fund Appropriation.........

The commission shall monitor the
operating costs of the Maryland
Racing Commission, expenditures
related to track operations and
revenues that accrue to the State
from racing. If revenues are not

expected to exceed the

appropriations by at least eight
percent (8%), the commission
shall submit a report to the
fiscal committees (Senate Budget
and Taxation, Senate Finance,
House Appropriations and House
Ways and Means) outlining the
reasons why revenues do not
exceed appropriations by at least
eight percent (8%) and listing
alternatives for achieving the 8%
goal.
