AN ACT concerning

Maryland Stadium Authority - Financing

FOR the purpose of establishing certain revenue sources for
financing the debt service of the Maryland Stadium
Authority; altering the tax on beer and providing for the
distribution of the revenues from the tax; establishing a
Maryland Stadium Authority Debt Service Facilities Fund and
certain criteria for handling funds; authorizing the State
to lease or sublease certain facilities; prohibiting the
closing on bonds unless certain criteria are satisfied;
requiring the State Lottery Agency to conduct certain
lotteries and providing for the distribution of lottery
proceeds; providing for the transfer of certain lease
payments; requiring a certain annual contribution to the
Maryland Stadium Authority Financing Fund; limiting the
amount of bonds that may be issued by the Authority and
providing an exception under certain conditions; providing
for the investment of certain funds; requiring a certain
report; requiring that certain criteria be met in
advertising and on lottery tickets under certain
circumstances; transferring certain funds to the State
Reserve Fund or the General Fund under certain
circumstances; and generally relating to financing the debt
service of the Maryland Stadium Authority.
