performed on Sundays. Any operation of bowling, duckpin or tenpin
alleys or exhibition of motion pictures and baseball on Sundays,
except as hereby authorized shall be unlawful and subject to the
provisions and penalties of said §§ 492 and 522 of this article.
Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect or change
the existing law concerning the exhibition of motion pictures or
the operation of bowling alleys, duckpin alleys or tenpin alleys
in Ocean City on Sundays.
DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects a typographical error in
Article 27, § 529.
The typographical error, the use of the word "to" in
place of the word "or" occurred in Ch. 46 of the Acts
of 1973 in setting out existing law previously
enacted.
The typographical error was noted by the Computer

(g) For purposes of this section, the term "police officer"
means any person who, in his official capacity, is authorized by
law to make arrests and who is:
(1) A member of the Maryland State Police; [or]
(2) A member of the Baltimore City police department;
[or]
(3) A member of the police department, bureau, or
force of any county; [or]
(4) A member of the police department, bureau or
force of any incorporated city or town, except Baltimore City,
which is a "qualifying municipality," as defined in § 37(a)(7)
and § 39 of Article 15A of this Code; [or]
(5) A member of the State Aviation Administration
police force, or the Mass Transit Administration police force, or
the Maryland Port Administration police force of the Department
of Transportation or the toll facilities police force of the
Maryland Transportation Authority; [or]
(6) A member of the University of Maryland or Morgan
State University police force; [or]
(7) A member of a police force for a State university
or college under the direction and control of the Board of
Trustees of State Universities and Colleges; [or]
