EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT - GOVERNOR

For the purpose of placing a

ceiling on the total number of
employees at any one time in
fiscal year 1988, the Executive
Department shall not expend funds

for any job or position of

employment approved in this

budget in excess of 165 - 152

positions. Provided further, with

the exception of the State

Police, no additional positions

shall be transferred into or

detailed to the Executive

Department from any other unit of

State government for periods

exceeding 90 days, without the
expressed approval of the Budget
Committees.

For the purpose of placing a
ceiling on the total number of
employees during fiscal year
1988, the Executive Department
shall not expend funds for any
job or position of employment in
excess of 173 positions. The
ceiling of 173 positions includes
the 152 positions approved in the
budget; the 13 positions to be
transferred to the Executive
Department pursuant to Executive
