MONTGOMERY COUNTY

(1)  provide for the administration of an Alternative
Community Service Program by the Department of
Correction and Rehabilitation;

(2)  authorize the imposition of fees;

(3)  provide for regulations; and

(4)  ratify prior actions.

By adding to

Chapter 13, Detention Centers and Rehabilitation Facilities
Article III, Alternative Community Service Program
Sections 13-24 through 13-27 of the Montgomery County Code

AN ACT to:

(1)  require the County Executive toy submit to the District
Council certain comments on the effect of the final
draft of a master plan prepared by the
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission;

(2)  authorize the County Executive to revise the final
draft;

(3)  require the County Executive to submit to the District
Council the final draft with any revisions and comments
on the reasons for and effects of the revisions;

(4)  provide that certain municipal corporations receive
copies of the final draft and any revisions and
comments;

(5)  alter the time after the record of a public hearing is
closed that the District Council must approve or
disapprove the final draft;

(6)  make technical and stylistic changes; and

(7)  generally provide for greater involvement of the County
Executive in approval of master plans.
