AN ACT to:

(1)  prohibit the issuance of a building permit for the
construction of [[back-to-back townhouses]] certain
residential buildings unless the plans include the
installation of a fire sprinkler system [[and fire
alarms]];

(2)  define certain terms;

(3)  require the County Executive to adopt regulations by
[[a]] certain [[date]] dates; [[and]]

(4)  establish a residential fire sprinkler task force; and

(5)  generally amend the building code provisions on fire
sprinkler systems.
