AN ACT to:

(1)  require all builders of new homes to register with the
County New Home Warranty Program;

(2)  require that all new homes sold in the County be
covered by a 10 year warranty secured through either
the County warranty plan or a County approved private
warranty plan;

(3)  establish a County New Home Warranty Security Fund;

(4)  provide for a review and approval of alternate new home
warranty security programs;

(5)  create a Board of Registration;

(6)  provide for the denial, suspension, or revocation of
builder licenses;

(7)  provide for enforcement and issuance of regulations;
and

(8)  generally amend the law on builders' licenses and new
home warranties.
