WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor

NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. Consideration shall also be given to
local and regional goals and policies as expressed in urban
renewal, community renewal and local comprehensive land use plans
and regional plans.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1987.

June 2, 1987
The Honorable R. Clayton Mitchell, Jr.
Speaker of the House of Delegates
State House
Annapolis, Maryland 21404

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 1125.

This bill increases the minimum amount of capital investment
that is required for a restaurant in Prince George's County to
qualify for a Class BLX alcoholic beverages license.

Senate Bill 69, which was passed by the General Assembly and
signed by me on May 14, 1987, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 1125.

Sincerely,

William Donald Schaefer

Governor

House Bill No. 1125

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County -

Class BLX Alcoholic Beverages License

PG 307-87

FOR the purpose of altering the limit on the amount of capital
investment that is required for a restaurant to qualify for
issuance of a Class BLX alcoholic beverages license in
Prince George's County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

- 3759 -
