WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor

Speaker of the House of Delegates

State House

Annapolis, Maryland 21404

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland
Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 474.

This bill requires trustees who administer estates under the
jurisdiction of a circuit court to file a schedule of rate
increases and corpus commissions with the trust clerk prior to
implementing them.

Senate Bill 361, which was passed by the General Assembly
and signed by me on April 29, 1987, accomplishes the same
purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House
Bill 474.

Sincerely,

William Donald Schaefer

Governor

House Bill No. 474

AN ACT concerning

Trustees - Schedules of Commissions

FOR the purpose of requiring trustees who administer estates
under the jurisdiction of courts to file with the trust
clerks of the courts certain schedules of increased rates of
income and corpus commissions; changing certain
cross-references to clarify that this filing does not affect
the applicability of the schedules; clarifying references to
certain courts; and clarifying language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
