Ch. 643                                    LAWS OF MARYLAND

AN EMPLOYEE OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY to represent the President at
the meeting.

(3)  If the Speaker is unable to attend a meeting, the
Speaker may designate [a delegate] ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL OR AN
EMPLOYEE OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY to represent the Speaker at the
meeting.

(4)  If the Governor is unable to attend a meeting,
the Governor may designate another individual to represent the
Governor at the meeting.

(5) IF THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY IS
UNABLE TO ATTEND A MEETING, THE EXECUTIVE MAY DESIGNATE ANOTHER

INDIVIDUAL TO REPRESENT THE EXECUTIVE AT THE MEETING.

(6) IF THE MAYOR OF ANNAPOLIS IS UNABLE TO ATTEND A
MEETING, THE MAYOR MAY DESIGNATE ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL TO REPRESENT
THE MAYOR AT THE MEETING.

(b)  A member of the Commission:

(1)  may not receive compensation; but

(2)  is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under
the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State
budget.

(c)  The Commission may have offices and employ a staff and
consultants in accordance with the State budget.

9-923.

(a) Seven members of the Veterans' Home Commission are a
quorum to do business.

(b) (1) The Veterans' Home Commission shall meet:

(i) at least twice a year, at the times and
places that it determines
; and

(ii) at the call of the Chairman, on the
Chairman's initiative or the request of at least 4 members.

(2) Unless all of the members of the Veterans' Home
Commission agree otherwise, the secretary of the Commission shall
give each member at least 7 days' written notice of a meeting.

(3) IF THE PRESIDENT IS UNABLE TO ATTEND A MEETING,
THE PRESIDENT MAY DESIGNATE A SENATOR OR AN EMPLQYEE OF THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO REPRESENT THE PRESIDENT AT THE MEETING.
