(14) The occupation of fire fighting, law
enforcement, including private investigators and security
personnel, life saving personnel, and the transportation of sick
or injured people and animals;
(15) The repair and maintenance of electrical lines,
communication lines and community television lines, in cases of
emergency;
(16) The repair, maintenance and clearance of
roadways, rail lines, and waterways, in cases of emergency;
(17) The transportation of persons for hire by land,
sea and air, including the operation of terminals for such
purposes, and the furnishing of related services;
(18) The occupation of plumbers, electricians,
carpenters, and other mechanics of every kind and character, in
cases of emergency;
(19) The operation of state forests and parks,
including stores located within the boundary lines of the parks,
selling supplies to the users thereof;
(20) The sale of bait, tackle and other equipment, of
any kind and character, used for fishing, crabbing, clamming, or
other types of water related activities, including the rental of
such equipment and the sale or rental of any type of equipment
used for the enjoyment of the beach, swimming pools or the water;
(21) Industries where continuous processing or
manufacturing is required by the very nature of the process
involved;
(22) Sale and distribution of newspapers, magazines
and other lawful reading materials;
(23) Sale of stationery items, greeting cards, film
and camera supplies, cosmetic and beauty aids, hosiery, baby
needs, tobacco products, candy, ice cream, sodas, ices and other
related supplies;
(24) All recreational activities, sports and
amusements are permitted on Sunday including the sale or rental
of such items that may be related to the performance of such
recreational activities, sports and amusements at shops located
within the boundary lines of places where such recreational
activities, sports and amusements are permitted. However, the
recreational activities, sports and amusements provided for in §
529 of this article shall be controlled as specified therein;
