BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Agriculture 5-201. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings [(b) "Application" means the spreading of pesticides, by (c) "Certified applicator" means any individual to whom the (d) "Custom applicator" means any person who is engaged in (e) "Defoliant" means any substance or mixture of (f) "Desiccant" means any substance or mixture of (g) "Device" means any instrument or mechanical device (h) "General use pesticide" means a pesticide so classified (i) "Pest" means (1) any insect, snail, slug, rodent, nematode, fungus, weed, or (2) any other form of terrestrial or - aquatic plant or animal life or virus, bacteria, or other on or in living man or any other living animal) which normally is considered to be a pest or which the Secretary declares to be a (j) "Pesticide" means (1) any substance or mixture of - 1351 -
