AN ACT concerning

Harford County - Water and Sewerage
Systems - Building and Zoning Permits

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 9-514(b) and (c)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(b) In Harford County, EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (C)
OF THIS SECTION, a building permit or a zoning permit may not be
issued for a new subdivision in an area where a community water
supply system or a community sewerage system is scheduled to be
built within 10 years under the county plan, unless there is a
county approved water supply system and a county approved
sewerage system for the subdivision.

FOR the purpose of authorizing certain officials in Harford
County to waive certain prerequisites to the issuance of
building and zoning permits in areas of Harford County where
community water and sewerage systems will be constructed at
certain times; providing certain minimum conditions for lots
or subdivision sites to qualify under the provisions of this
Act; requiring the Harford County governing body to make
certain determination before adopting any amendment or
revision to the county plan; and generally relating to the
issuance of building permits and zoning permits in areas of
Harford County where community water and, sewerage systems
will be constructed at certain times; and making this Act an
emergency measure.
