AN ACT concerning
Prince George's County - Board of License
Commissioners - Administrator's Salary

FOR the purpose of altering the salary of the Administrator of
the Prince George's County Board of License Commissioners.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 155(q)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
155.
(q) In Prince George's County each of the members of the
board, except the chairman, shall receive an annual salary of
$12,000 and the chairman shall receive an annual salary of
$13,000. The board shall meet at least two times per month. The
administrator of the board shall be appointed by and serve at the
will of the board and shall devote full time and attention to the
duties of the board. The administrator may receive an annual
salary of [$28,453] $32,000 $30,444 as determined by the board of
license commissioners after a performance evaluation. The
attorney for the board shall be appointed by, and serve at the
will of, the board and receive an annual salary of $11,000 and
the County Council shall pay all court costs and expenses
incurred therein by the attorney to the board. The County
Council is authorized to appropriate and levy a sum sufficient to
pay for all expenses of the Prince George's County board of
license commissioners upon the submission of an annual budget.
In such budget, the salary of the members of the board shall be
approved as hereinbefore set forth; all other expenses,
including, but not restricted to, the compensation of the
inspectors, the salary of the administrator as limited herein,
compensation of other personnel, who shall be qualified and
employed under the county merit system, printing, supplies, and
office space, shall be at the discretion of the County Council
for Prince George's County.
