Section 3-204

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1977 Volume and 1985 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

3-204.

(a)(1) Consolidated transportation bonds shall be executed
on behalf of the Department by the manual OR FACSIMILE signature
of[:

(i) The] THE Secretary[;

(ii) The deputy secretary; or

(iii) An assistant secretary specially
designated by the Secretary for that purpose].

(2) Other signatures on the bonds may be either
manual or facsimile.

(b) If an individual whose manual or facsimile signature
appears on any consolidated transportation bond or coupon ceases
to serve in an authorized capacity before the delivery of the
bond, the signature nevertheless is as valid and sufficient for
all purposes as if the individual had remained in that capacity
until delivery of the bond.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.
