subsequent sections accordingly of the Howard County Code in
order to prohibit the sale, use or possession of electronic
weapons in Howard County.

AN ACT to authorize and empower Howard County, Md., to
borrow on its full faith and credit, and to issue and sell its
bonds therefor, at one time or from time to time within four
years from the date this Act becomes effective, an amount not
exceeding $100,000, the proceeds thereof to be used for the
planning, construction, furnishing and equipment of Savage Road
Bridge (Project B-3820); and payment of related costs; and to
levy taxes upon the assessable property within the County to pay
the principal of and interest on any bonds so issued; as the
County Council may be Ordinance provide; and providing that any
bonds so issued are specifically exempt from the provisions of
Article 31, Section 11 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

AN ACT adding new Section 20.110 "Abatement of taxes due by
Howard County" to the Howard County Code to authorize the
Director of Finance to abate personal property taxes for which
Howard County is liable because of a contractual obligation or
otherwise.

AN ACT adding new Subsection (e) "Exemptions" to Section
22.206 "Lobbying Disclosure" of Subtitle 2 "Public Ethics" of
Title 22 "General Provisions, Penalties and Rules of
Interpretation" of the Howard County Code in order to exempt
certain activities under certain circumstances from the lobbyist
registration and reporting requirements and requiring that
certain persons register with the Howard County Ethics
Commission.
Effective Date November 8, 1985.
