AN ACT amending various sections of Subtitle 5 "Agricultural
Land Preservation" and Subtitle 6 "Agricultural Preservation
Districts" of Title 15 "Natural Resources" of the Howard County
Code in order to codify the criteria making property eligible for
inclusion in a Howard County Agricultural Land Preservation
District; clarifying the criteria making property eligible for
sale of development rights; clarifying language regarding
building lots for the use of the owner and the owners children;
and generally clarifying language concerning Agricultural Land
Preservation Districts and the sale of development rights.

Effective Date May 6, 1985.

Bill No. 4

AN ACT to authorize and empower Howard County, Maryland, to
borrow on its full faith and credit, and to issue and sell its
bonds therefor, at one time or from time to time within four
years from the date this Act becomes effective, an amount not
exceeding $290,000 the proceeds thereof to be used for the
planning, construction, furnishing and equipment of the Asbestos
Removal/Abatement - County-owned facilities (Project C-0187); and
payment of related costs; and to levy taxes upon the assessable
property within the County to pay the principal of and interest
on any bonds so issued; as the County Council may by Ordinance
provide; and providing that any bonds so issued are specifically
exempt from the provisions of Article 31, Section 11 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland; and declaring this to be an emergency
measure.

Effective Date March 7, 1985.

AN ACT to add Section 18.124 (bX) to Title 18, "Public
Works" of the Howard County Code to incorporate into the
Metropolitan District certain parcel(s) belonging to John R.
Curtis.

Effective Date May 6, 1985.

AN ACT repealing Subtitle 1 "Board of Health" of Title 12 of
the Howard County Code and Subtitle 2 "Pollution of Air" of Title
