AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 6-76,
heading, Applicability, of Article X, heading, Taxicabs, of
Chapter 6, heading, Businesses, of the Harford County Code, as
amended; to exempt taxicabs and taxicab operators licensed by any
municipality located in Harford County from county laws, rules,
and regulations governing the operations of taxicabs and taxicab
operators when solicited by telephone from passengers residing in
Harford County for designations within the municipality.

Effective Date October 15, 1985.

Bill No. 85-43

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Subsection
(a) of Section 8A-21, heading, Term; Payment of Fee; Continuation

of Business or Work by Person other than Person Who Qualified;

Assignment, Transfer and Renewal; Inactive Licenses, of Article

III, heading, Licenses Generally, of Chapter 8A, heading,

Electricity, of the Harford County Code, as amended; to provide
for staggered expiration dates of electrical licenses.

Effective Date December 9, 1985.

Bill No. 85-44

AN ACT to add new Section 13.20.2, heading, Special Sewer
Use Fees, to Article II, heading, Schedule of Fees, of Chapter
13, heading, Licenses and Permits, of the Harford County Code, as
amended; to provide fees for the deposit of industrial waste,
septage waste, and other waste in the treatment systems of
Harford County, Maryland; and to provide that any rules and
regulations, resolutions, and uncodified acts establishing
certain sewer fees are repealed.

Effective Date November 4, 1985.

Bill No. 85-46 (as amended)

AN ACT to add new Article IV, heading, Personal Care
Boarding Homes, to Chapter 12, heading, Health, of the Harford
County Code, as amended, to provide for the licensing and
regulations of personal care boarding homes for adults; to
provide for the inspection of boarding homes; to establish
certain standards for boarding homes; to provide for criminal and
civil penalties for violation; and to provide, generally, for
personal care boarding homes for adults.
