services where deficiencies in
service levels currently exist.

All contracts with units of local
government for Resident Trooper
services shall be subject to
indirect cost recovery; such
recovery shall not include items
of expense given free of charge
to local police departments of
the State; such indirect costs
recovered shall be utilized as
special funds for operating
expenses under this program.

Funds are included in the Maryland
Transportation Authority - John
F. Kennedy Memorial Highway
budget to pay for services
provided by this program.
Authorization is hereby granted
to use these receipts as special
funds for operating expenses in
this program.
