PROPOSING THE ANNEXATION TO POCOMOKE CITY OF CERTAIN LAND
SITUATED CONTIGUOUS TO AND BINDING UPON THE SOUTHEAST CORPORATE
LIMITS OF POCOMOKE CITY AND PROVIDING FOR CONDITIONS AND
CIRCUMSTANCES APPLICABLE TO THE PROPOSED CHANGES IN BOUNDARY OF
POCOMOKE CITY.

RESOLUTION NO. 001-85

A RESOLUTION of the Commissioners of Poolesville adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article 11E of the Constitution of
Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the 1957 Annotated Code
of Maryland (1981 Replacement Volume and 1984 Cum. Supp.), title,
"Corporations-Municipal", subtitle "Home Rule", to amend Section
82-17(b), title "Powers of Commissioners as to water and sewerage
systems"; of Part I of the Poolesville Code, being a part of the
municipal charter of The Commissioners of Poolesville, to repeal
the provisions contained therein requiring the Commissioners of
Poolesville to construct at its sole expense sewer and water line
extensions from water and sewer mains in public right of ways to
the property lines of properties abutting such right of ways.

amendments.
