1520 LAWS OF MARYLAND Ch. 397 CHAPTER 397 (Senate Bill 1027) AN ACT concerning Mass Transit Administration - Fare Recovery Ratio - Transit Services FOR the purpose of requiring the Mass Transit Administration to recover from certain revenues at least a specific percentage BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Transportation SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article - Transportation 7-208. (a) (2) (i) For fiscal 1992 and each fiscal year thereafter, the Administration shall projected to] recover from [such] fares and other operating revenues at least 50 percent of the total operating costs for the mass transit bus AND RAIL services under its jurisdiction. It is the intent of the General Assembly that the provisions of this paragraph shall apply on a system wide basis and not on an individual [bus] transit line basis.
