shall indicate that the Veterans' Administration has designated
or classified the veteran as having lost the use of a hand, arm,
or leg or as being totally disabled.

(d) Any disabled veteran whose vehicle is eligible for
exemption under subsection [(a)(9)] (A)(8) of this section and
who also is eligible for a special, disabled persons registration
number under § 13-616 of this title may elect to receive the
special registration number and special registration plates
provided for in that section, without payment of the registration
fees specified in this subtitle.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects outdated internal references
in §§ 13-903(c)(2) and (3) and (d) of the
Transportation Article.

TR § 13-903(a)(8) and (9) became TR § 13-903(7) and
(8) in Ch. 306 of the Acts of the Regular Session of
the General Assembly of 1985.

The outdated internal references were noted by the
Computer Division of the Department of Legislative
Reference.

(d) (1) Subject to the regulations adopted under this
subtitle, any resident of this State who possesses a valid Class
E driver's license, a Class E learner's permit, or is eligible
for a Class E learner's [permit] PERMIT, may enroll in a course.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects the omission of punctuation
in § 16-603(d)(l) of the Transportation Article, for
purposes of clarity.

The punctuation, a comma after the word "permit", was
omitted from Ch. 555 of the Acts of the Regular
Session of the General Assembly of 1985.

The omitted punctuation was noted by the Michie
Company.

27-101.

(k) (3) The penalties provided by this [section] SUBSECTION
are mandatory and are not subject to suspension or probation.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects an erroneous internal
reference in § 27-101(k)(3) of the Transportation
Article.

The penalties referenced in TR § 27-101(k)(3) are
contained in TR § 27-101(k)(2).

The erroneous internal reference was contained in Ch.
