(b) The Administration shall charge a fee for any listing
furnished under this section. The fee charged may not be less
than the cost [of] TO this State of preparing that listing.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects a typographic error in §
12-ll2(b) of the Transportation Article.

The typographic error occurred in Ch. 255 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1984.

(b)  (3) In addition to the registration fees required by
this title, the applicant for registration of a vehicle shall pay
a fee of $1 for each registration issued by the county government
acting as an agent of the Administration under subsection (b)(1)
of this section. The Administration shall retain a portion of
this fee in order to offset its costs. A county government may
[collect] COLLECT, for each registration issued, an additional
fee not to exceed $1 to offset expenses incurred in the sale of
registrations. The amount of the additional fee shall be
determined by each county government.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects the omission of punctuation
in § 13-404(b)(3) of the Transportation Article, for
purposes of clarity.

The punctuation, a comma after the word "collect", was
omitted in Ch. 569 of the Acts of the Regular Session
of the General Assembly of 1985.

The omission of the punctuation was noted by the
Michie Company.

(c)  (2) The special identification marker for a motor
vehicle and trailer exempt under subsection [(a)(8)] (A)(7) of
this section shall bear the number of the organization and the
number of the local voiture, reading "40-8-(local number)".
