SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Government

9-120.1.

(A) THE AGENCY SHALL CONDUCT AN ANNUAL LOTTERY FOR THE
BENEFIT OF THE MARYLAND SPORTS AUTHORITY.

(B) FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE LOTTERY CONDUCTED UNDER THIS
SECTION, THE COMPTROLLER SHALL PROVIDE FOR THE DISTRIBUTION UNDER
§ 9-120(A) OF THIS SUBTITLE, AND DISTRIBUTE THE REMAINING FUNDS
AS FOLLOWS:

(1) IF THE MARYLAND SPORTS AUTHORITY HAS NO REVENUE
BONDS OUTSTANDING, THE FUNDS SHALL BE PAID 50 PERCENT TO THE
STATE GENERAL FUND AND 50 PERCENT TO THE MARYLAND SPORTS
AUTHORITY FINANCING FUND.
