Novembr Court 1716 90 Court adjourns to morrow morning Eight Clock 23d againe meets
Mr. William Comegys & Mr John March takes their places & Sits on the bench Nathl Dunnahaw Son of John Dunnahaw late of Said Coty dec.d ye afd Nathaniel comes into Co.rt and Saith that he is capable of gitting his Livelyhood and can work to maintaine himselfe he being Sixteen years old ye twelfth day of Janry last on which this Court gives him his liberty if he doth take an honest care in maintaining himself &ca John Caisly comes into Co.rt and Saith he lost two notes he had from ye Justices of this Co.rt for an allowance in ye Levey and Swears that the notes Amounted to five hundred and Sixty pounds of Tobacco order;d yt. he be allowed the Same in the Levey and Saith that if he gets know: :ledge of the Same he will Cancel them

ordered that he be kept in safe Custody by the Sherf of Said County untill he Shall Answ.r unto a Certain bill of Indictment found agst. this Court by the Grand Jury which folls vizt K.t Coty Maryld Ss The Jurors for our Lord proprietor and the body of Kent County upon their oath do present that Thomas Hues late of South Sassafras upper hundred in the County afd Yeoman the first day of July in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen at South Sassafras upper hundred in the County afd and within the Jurisdicõn of this Court by force & Armes the Close of a certain James Sankston did break and enter & a certain brown Bay Mare markt on the left Eare with a flower deluce of the price of three pounds tenn Shillings the Goods and Chattells of the Sd |
