   and the Said Plt by his attry afd Releases the Special Bayle in the accõn afd and
   the Said Deft Comes into Court and in his proper person appears to the above accõn-
   and Saith that he Cannott gainsay the Accõn afd of him the Said Plt nor but that [the]
   writing obligatory above mentioned is his act and deed and that he oweth unto the
   afd Richard the Tobacco afd and is willing that Judgment Should be entred for the –
   Same & Cost thereon accrueing-   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here
   viz.t this nineteenth day of June Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred & Sixteen
   That the afd Plt Richard Bennett Recover against the afd Deft Thomas Taylor as
   well the afd Sume of one Thousand Sixty & Six pounds of Tobacco Debt and also the
   Sume of Three hundred and forty five pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt about his
   Suite in this behalfe Expended and by the Court here of his assent adjudged and the
   Said Deft in mercy &ca——

          at | liberty thereof to imparle thereto & to Answr at next [Cort] which[h]
   Chr Bateman- | was granted ye Same day was given y.e Plt. also . . The afd Plt by

   Cost in the Said accõn if Cast but the Sd Deft by his Sd Attry releases all Error that —
   may be taken for want of Same ——
   Amos Garrett | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County [this]
           at | twenty fourth day of March in the first year of his —
   Patrick Creagh - | Lord Ships Dominion &c.a that he take Patrick
   Creagh late of Queen Annes County Gentl otherwise Called Patrick Creagh of
   Kent County in the Province of Maryland Merch.t if he Should be found in
   [his] Baylwick & him Safe keep So that he have his body before his Said —
   [Lord] Sps Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town
   of Chester in Said County to Answer unto Amos Garrett of Ann [Arundll] County
   Merch.t the full and just Sum of four pounds Eighteen Shillings Sterllg money of
   England w.ch to him he owes and from him unjustly detains &c.a And that
   he have then and there the Said writ &c.a Att which Said next Court viz the
   nineteenth day of June Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred
   and Sixteen the day of return of Said writ Came William Frisby Gent~.
   high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon
   Endorsed as folls Cepi Corpus pr William Frisby Sherf And now at this
   Court Came the afd Plt by James Earle his attry and pray[d] he might
   put in Seurity for the Plt. that if the Deft Should appear & plead to y.e
   above Accõn and Should Non Suite the Plt. that then the Security Should
   pay Cost to the Deft~. which was granted On which the afd James Earle
   Saith that he will pay all Cost in the accõn afd to the Deft~. if the plt
