     10                                     June Court 1716
   Shall be Cast and the Plt do not pay it himselfe
   The afd Plt. by his afd attry prays that the afd Deft~ might give Special bayle
   to the afd Accõn which was granted on which Jonathan Page of this County
   Comes into Court and Acknowledges himselfe Special Bayle for the afd Deft
   and doth undertake the payment of the Debt afd and the Cost thereon accrueing
   if it Should happen that the Said Plt Shall obtaine Judgment against the
   afd Deft~ in the afd Accõn of Debt and the Said Deft the Condemnation
   afd Shall not Satisfie nor himselfe to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County
   deliver or that the afd Jonathan the body of the Said Patrick Shall not
   render &c.a
   And the afd Deft by Thomas Bowne his attry comes & defends the force
   and injury &c.a And Saveing to himselfe all manner of advantages and
   Exceptions as well to the writ afd as to the Declaration of the Said Plt. pray[s]
   leave to imparle thereto and to Answer at next Court which was granted
   the Same day was given the Plt~ also

| Trespass upon the Case the Same writ was returned Cepi
   Tho Bayly | the afd Plt by James Earle his attry might put in Security
          at | to pay ye Deft Cost if ye Plt Should be Cast in y< e Accõn afd
   Tho Jerrum | which was granted   On which ye afd James Earle in-
   ~~~~~~~~~~ | Court acknowledges that he will pay to the afd Deft all
   Cost in the accon afd if the Plt be Cast and the Plt do not pay the Same
   The afd Deft by Thomas Bowne his attry Comes and defends the force &
   injury &c.a And Saveing to himselfe all and all manner of advantages
   and Exceptions As well to the writ afd as to the Declaration of the Said Plt
   prays liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to Answer at next Court which
   is granted the Same day is given the Plt in like manner ———
