   Oath on ye Holy Evangilists of Almighty God and Saith that the afd Deft~
   Thomas Jones is indebted to him the Sume of thirty five Shillings and
   Six pence Currant money the Sume mentioned in the afd Declaration—
   And the afd Deft comes into Court and appears to ye afd Accõn and —
   Saith that he Cannot gainsay the accõn afd So as afd brought and is —
   willing that Judgment Should be enterd for the Sume as afd mentioned
   with Cost thereon accruing Therefore it is Considered by the Court~
   here viz.t this twenty Second day of Novemb.r Anno Domini one——
   Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen that the afd Plt~ Laughlin Flinn
   Recover against the Said Deft Thomas Jones as well the afd Sume of
   thirty five Shillings and Six pence Currant money Damages on Accot
   of the Said Deft. his not performing his promise and assumption afd.
   as also the Sume of Two hundred thirty nine pounds of Tobacco Cost by
   the afd Plt~ about his Suite in this behalfe Expended and by the Court-
   here of his assent adjudged and the Deft in mercy

   James Govane | Commanded it was to the Sherf
             at | of Kent County the twenty first day of
   William Wilshier | August in the Second Year of the Domini

:on of Charles absolute Lord and Proprie:
  :tarie of the Province of Maryland and avalon Lord Baron of —
   Baltemore &ca. That he take Wilshier of Kent County Planter if
   he Should be found in his Baylwick and him Safe keep So that he—
   have his body before his Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to
   be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to
   Answer unto James Govane Gentleman of a plea of Trespass on
   ye Case   And that he have then and there the Said writ &ca ——
   Att which Said next Court vizt. the twentieth day of Novembr. ye
   Same year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ Came
   William Frisby Gent. high Sherf of Said County and made return
   thereof in these words thereon endorsed as folls vizt Cepi Corpus pr
   Wm Ffrisby Sherf ——   And the afd Plt by his attry James
   Earle prays that Surty for Cost may be taken which is granted -
   on which James Earle afd comes into Court and Saith that if ye.
