   Accõn which is granted   After which John Walls and Walter Meeks both of~
   this County Comes into Court and acknowledges themselves as Special baile
   in the above accõn and they and either of them do undertake the paymt.
   of the debt afd & Cost thereon accruing if in Case the Said Deft Shall be
   Cast in the accon afd and the Condemnation Shall not Satisfie nor himself
   to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County deliver or that the afd John Walls
   or Walter Meeks or either of them the body of the afd Thomas Shall
   not render &ca.
   And the afd Deft by James Earle his attry comes and defends the
   force and Injury &ca. and Saveing to himselfe all and all manner of -
   advantages and exceptions as well to the writ as to the Decln of the
   afd Plt~ prays liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to answer at~
   next Court wch. is granted the Same day is given the Plt~ also
   John Valiant | Trespass on ye Case the Same Returnd Cepi &ca And -
           ——— | now at this Court Came the Said Plt~. by John Johnson
             at | his attry and prays that he may be taken at Security
   Philp Eilbeck | for the Plt he being person that doth not live in ye.
   —————— | County that if the Deft Should apr. and plead to ye
   afd Accõn and Cast ye Plt in the Same that then he’l be obliged to pay it~
   which is granted And the Said John Johnson Comes into Court and Saith
   that if the Plt~ Should be Case in the afd Accõn that then he will pay
   the Cost in the Same
   The Said Deft~. being Called Came and the Said Plt by his afd Attry
   prays that the Deft~ afd may give Special Baile to the afd accõn which
   is granted And that he be kept in Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said
   County untill he Shall give Special bayle as afd ———————
   Laughlin Flinn | T: C: returnd Cepi And the afd Deft~ by Thomas Bowne

   Chr Bateman - | of Advantages and Exceptions as well to the writ

   Laughlin Flinn | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent

             at | Second year of the Dominion of Charles absolute
   Thomas Jones - | Lord and Proprietarie of the Province of—
   Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &ca. That he
   take Thomas Jones of Kent County Planter if he Shold be found
   in his Bailiwick and him Safe keep So that he have his body before
   his Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court~
