   November Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen
   That the afd Plt Thomas Bowne for the afd Sume of Sixteen hundred
   and thirty and Six pounds of Tobacco Debt as also the Sume of Three
   hundred and fourteen pounds of Tob^o Cost accruing on the Same have an—
   attachment against the Goods and Chattells rights and Credits of the afd
   Deft Walter King according to Act of Assembly in Such Cases made [&c^a.]

Thomas Massey	\|	& Proprietarie of the Province of Maryland &

   Avalon Ld Baron of Baltemore &c^a. that he take Thomas Massey
   late of Kent County Planter als Dict^s Thomas Macre [?] if he Should be
   found in his Bayliwick and him Safe keep So that he have his body
   before his Said Lord Ships Justices of the next Court to be held at~
   our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer
   unto Mich^ll Coulter of a plea that he render unto him the Sum
   of five hundred & twelve pounds of good Sound Merchantable
   leefe Tobacco in Caske to contain the Same Convenient in S^d County of—
   the value of fifty Shill^s Sterl^g money of great Brittaine which from him
   unjustly detains &c^a. And that he have then and there the Said writ
   &c^a. . . Att which Said next Court viz^t the twentieth day of Novemb^r
   the Same year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ Came .
   William Frisby Gent high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof
   in these words thereon Endorsed as foll^s viz^t. Cepi Corpus p^r W^m Frisby-
   Sherf . And now at this Court Came the afd Plt~ by John Johnson his
   att^r. and the Said Deft~. being Called Came and the Plt afd by his att^ry.
   afd Prays that the Same Deft may give Special Baile to the afd —
