   manner and forme and by William Bower there foreman also Say   And the
   afd Plt by his attry afd Prays Judgment~ on the verdict afd Therefore
   it is Considered by the Court here viz.t the Same day last mentioned —
   That the afd Plt. George Hill Recover against the afd Deft~ John——
   Hodges as well the afd Sume of Six pounds twelve Shillings Currant
   money afd Damages on Accot of the Said Deft~ his not performing his
   promise and assumption afd as also the Sume of Eleaven hundred .
   and twenty nine pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt ab.t his Suite in
   and that the Said Deft~ be taken into Custody

   Same ———— | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County
        at | the Sixteenth day of Novembr. in the Second -
   Same Same Accon | year of his now Majestie George &ca. That he
     as afd ———— | take John Hodges of Kent County Mariner if
   he Should be found in his Baylwick and him Safe keep So that
   he have his body before his Said Majesties Justices of the next
   Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in
   Said County to Answer unto George Hill of a plea of Trespass -
   upon ye Case And that he have then and there the Said—
   writ &ca. Att which Said next Court vizt. the twentieth day of
   March the Same [Year] last mentioned the day of return of Said
   writ Came William Frisby Gent- high Sherf of Said County
   and made return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed
   as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Wm Ffrisby Sherf .And a Decln
   being filed in Said Accõn and a Copy thereof Served therewith
   According to Act of Assembly in Such Case made which Decln
   is entred as afd And the Deft being called Came to —
   Answer the Same as afd And the Plt afd by Thos Bowne
   his attry prayd that the Deft might give Special bayle
   to the Same as afd which was granted After which—
   William Glanvill of this County in Court Came and did
   acknowledge himselfe Special bayle in the Same Accõn
   and did undertake the Payment of the Damages in
   the Accõn afd and Cost accruing if it Should happen
