   Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sherf.
   and the Said Deft~. being called came And the Said Plts by Thomas Bowne
   his attry. Prays that. She might give Special baile to the afd Accõn which
   is granted . on which came into Court Charles Smith of Said County &
   acknowledged himselfe as Special baile in the afd Accõn and doth—
   undertake for the afd Deft~. the payment of the Debt afd and Cost thereon
   Accruing if the afd Plts. Should obtaine Judgment against the Said Deft
   in the Said Accon of Debt~. and the Said Deft the Condemnation afd
   Shall not Satisfie nor herselfe to the Custody of the Sherf. of Said County
   deliver or that the Said Charles Smith the body of the Said Sarah—
   Shall not render &ca.  .    .
    And the afd Deft~ by Michael Howard her attry appears to the afd
   Accon and prays liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to answer at
   next Court which is granted the Same day is Given the Plts also -
   His Lordship & - | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County
    James Harris - | the twenty third day of November in the Second
           at | year of his Lordships Dominion &ca. That he
   John Simkins . | Take John Symkins of Kent County Planter if he

Should be found in his Bailywick and him Safe
   keep So that he have his body before his Said Lordships Justices of the
   next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County
   to Answer unto the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietor of this .
   Province and James Harris who as well for the Said Lord proprietor as
   for himselfe followeth of a plea that he render to the Said Lord proprie:
  :tor and the Same James Harris the Sume of Two Thousand pounds
   of Merchantable Tobacco of the value of Twenty pounds Sterling money
   which to the Sd Lord Proprietor and the Same James Harris he unjustly
   detains &ca. And that he have then & there the Said writ &ca. . .
     Att. which Said next Court vizt. the Eighteenth day of March the Same
   year last mentioned the day of return of Said writ Came Simon Wilmer
   Gent high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words .
   thereon Endorsed as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sherf.
    And the Said Deft being called came And the Said Plts by Thomas Bowne
   their attry prays that the Said Deft~ might give Special baile to the afd —
   Accon which is granted And that he be kept in Safe Custody by the Sherf.
   of Said County untill he Shall give Special baile as afd : after which Charles
   Smith of Said County here in Court cometh and Acknowledged himselfe as
   Special baile in the afd Accõn and doth undertake for the afd Deft the .
   payment of the Debt afd and Cost thereon Accruing if in Case the afd Deft
   the Condemnation afd Shall not Satisfie nor himselfe to the Custody of the
                                                                                                            Sherf.
