   355                                    March Court 1717
   in the Said Accõn of Debt. and the Said Deft the Condemnation afd Shall
   not Satisfie nor himselfe to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County deliver
   or that the afd Daniel Dyer the body of the afd Deft~ Shall not render
   &ca.
    and the Said Deft in his proper person appeared to the afd Accõn—
   and Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Accon afd of him the Said Plt~
   nor but that the writing obligatory above mentioned is his Act and
   deed and is willing that Judgment Should be entered for the Same and
   Cost thereon Accruing : Therefore it is Considered by the Court here
   vizt. this Twentieth day of March Anno Domini one Thousand
   Seven hundred and Seventeen That the afd Plt Giles Bond do
   recover against the Said Deft Nathaniel Berry as well the
   afd Sume of ffour hundred and fifty pounds of Tobacco Debt
   as also the Sume of Three hundred and Sixteen pounds of—
   Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt abouthis Sute in this behalfe Expended
   and by the Court here of his assent adjudged and the Said Deft~
   in Mercy

Ships Dominion &ca. That he take Francis
   Bellas of Kent County Planter alis Dics Francis Bellowes of Kent County
   Planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Safe keep.
   So that he have his body before his Said Lord Ships Justices of the
   next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said -
   County to Answer unto William Fitz Redmond of a plea that he Render
   him the full and neat Quantity of Eight hundred pounds of Tobacco of
   the value of Eight pounds Sterling money which from him he unjustly
   detains &ca. And that he have then and there the Said writ &ca. Att which
   Said next Court vizt. the Eighteenth day of March the Same Year last~
   mentioned the day of return of Said writ came Simon Wilmer Gent~.
   high Sherf of Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon
   Endorsed as folls. vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sherf And a Decln being
   fild when Said writ Issued forth and a Coy thereof Served therewith
   According to Act of Assembly in Such Case made was as folls vizt
   Kent County Ss Francis Bellas of Kent County Planter alis Dics Francis
